Brent M. Handley

Brent Handley is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) with years of experience in academic research and cultural resource management projects.

As ESI’s Senior Archaeologist, Mr. Handley’s specialties within the field of archaeology include prehistory, zooarchaeology, human osteology, and cemetery identification and repatriation.  Previous cultural resource management projects have included cultural resource assessment surveys, monitoring, test excavations, and block excavations in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and South Carolina. These projects have been successfully completed for clients such as the United States Coast Guard, the Army Corps of Engineers, United States Navy, Army National Guard, USDA-NRCS, National Park Service, and the Department of Transportation, as well as private companies and public utility companies.
